GoDaddy and the Unexpected Response

Well I am shocked and surprised, but in a good way.  One day after my post about GoDaddy and Wordpress not being a good mix, a GoDaddy representative left a comment asking for more information on the issue.  I decided to take the time to email them, because if there is a solution, I still have the hosting packages and may be able to put them to good use.  I still don’t have the issue resolved.  They keep insisting that Wordpress permalinks work fine on their hosting packages and I received a response to my email stating, “Currently … Continue Reading

GoDaddy hosting for Wordpress - Not a good mix

After 4 full days of researching and fighting GoDaddy hosting, the site is finally up!  Only it is no longer hosted on GoDaddy.  GoDaddy and Wordpress are not a good mix.  I really wish I would have done my research beforehand, but I guess sometimes you only learn from your mistakes.  The main issue I found with GoDaddy and Wordpress is that it is impossible to get permalinks to work.  I am a very technical person and can usually figure anything out, but I tried every suggested solution and not a single one worked.  All my permalinks went to … Continue Reading
