What Lesson Would You Pass On After You Die?
It is a simple question. If you could pass on one valuable lesson to the world before you die, what would it be?
Everyone has their own unique lesson they would want to pass on. So I posed this question to my followers on Twitter to see what kind of responses people would give me. Here is what they came up with.
- Treat people as you want to be treated. @ihospitality
- Always strive to find the value in any situation you’re in. Its there. @JeepNaked
- Good things come to those who wait, but only what is left by those who hustled. @dtothek
- Most good things in life require determination. @Skitzzo
- Read lots, love lots, and give your time to friends/family. Fit work in as time allows. @ChrisRomer
- My Dad always said, “If you get in a fight, and knock 2 of his teeth out, and he only knocks 1 of yours out, did you really win?” @JimmyRobbins
- Take a more direct path to being happy in life. Avoid the deceptive routes. @mike_austin
- You can’t take life too seriously. @steinburglar
- Question everything. You can learn so much with an inquisitive mind. @doctorsound
- To love unconditionally as often as possible! @kristyann
- The lesson would be that things can always change and never give up. @LindaBogie
- There is no reality, only perception. @JeepNaked
- Relationships are the most important thing in the world. @dfarnworth
- Forgive everyone and everything, including yourself. AND Happiness is a choice! @mike_austin
- Enjoy yourself (it’s later than you think). Every day is gift, use it wisely. @ChrisRomer
- Always use the grandmother rule before doing or saying anything. Would you do it if your grandmother was there? @robsnell
As you can see, it is a pretty diverse list. There are a few similarities, but in general, it is a good mix of life lessons.
What would you add?
